Dunque, siccome il futuro nasconde ombre sui posti diponibili per i specializzandi, ecco che gli studenti più intraprendenti potranno cominciare a pensare ad alternative :dry:
Se vi qualificate in Italia (o altrove) e vi registrate con ECFMG ( Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) in America, potrete sostenere gli impegnativi STEP USMLE.
Se li superate potrete fare domanda per le specializzazioni in USA 
Avete qualche anno per pensarci, comunque, vi posso dire che il STEP1 è impegnativo e richiede 6 a 12 mesi per prepararlo (anche se io penso che forse non bastano!) Quello che potete fare è di ottenere il materiale USMLE e spalmare lo studio a vostro piacimento durante il vostro percorso.

CITAZIONE Step 1 is a one-day examination. The testing day includes 322 multiple-choice items divided into 7 blocks of 46 items; 60 minutes are allotted for completion of each block of test items. On the test day, examinees have a minimum of 45 minutes of break time and a 15- minute optional tutorial. The amount of time available for breaks may be increased by finishing a block of test items or the optional tutorial before the allotted time expires.
L'esame dura 8 ore e dovete farlo nello stesso giorno. Solo 322 quiz :pinch:

Si, è rigorosamente in inglese, ma tanto vi tocca, quindi è buona pratica

To be eligible to take the USMLE Step 1, you must be in one of the following categories at the time of application and on the test day:
a medical student officially enrolled in, or a graduate of, a US or Canadian medical school program leading to the MD degree that is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME),
a medical student officially enrolled in, or a graduate of, a US medical school leading to the DO degree that is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or
a medical student officially enrolled in, or a graduate of, a medical school outside the United States and Canada and eligible for examination by the ECFMG. |
